Brunch at 'Egg and Spoon Race' & More Food

We woke up today craving eggs, bacon, toast and all things Melbourne brunch. Elysha searched for the closest 'brunch' place which was called 'Egg and Spoon Race' near Ehwa University Station. It was quite easy to find (for the first time in forever). The outside exuded a cottage garden theme, so we rushed inside.

The interior was even cuter. It made us so happy and cozy. Their attention to detail was really impressive with vintage books, a wooden counter and menus.

The Bagel dish- sunny side up egg with grilled chicken and melted cheese on a slightly sweet bagel was the perfect combination. The sausages weren't the best I've had but it was still a good addition.

Elysha's omelette filled with potatoes, spinach, bacon and tomatoes.
Our salads were really good too, coming from non-salad enthusiasts, due to the perfect dressings.

We then made our way to Hongik University station. Can I just say how efficient and easy the train/subway system here is? I will admit I was really confused at the beginning, but bear in mind I lack a cognitive map in my brain. We met Annabelle and decided to eat dessert....just because we had nothing better to do.

I don't remember what this place was called but it seemed like a popular franchise for bingsoo (shaved ice dessert).

Chose the strawberry one and it was so satisfying. On the sweeter side and melted like snow on your tongue. They had a decent range of flavours.

Dinner was sushi due to the salmon cravings. We only ordered the two plates of salmon sushi in the middle and everything else came for free. Can't complain.
