Trip to Nami Island!

SK Global, our university dorm, had the opportunity for us to go on a day trip to Nami Island for 25,000 won (about 26 AUD) which is a huge bargain! This included travel fares and lunch.

To be honest, there isn't actually that much to do on Nami Island other than take photos of scenery and eat little snacks they sell. You can rent single or double bikes so there were tons of couples riding around in couple outfits. You can also rent boats or jetskis. We didn't have that much time so we just explored the island and took photos. It's a good day trip idea and I'd recommend bike riding or going on a family or couples trip! 

Daejeon Photo Diary

In an attempt to evade writing about Hamlet in contexts, I will now throwback to my day trip to Daejeon.

 Daejeon was a lovely place to escape the busy streets of Seoul. It's about a three hour drive from Seoul and has a beautiful big park where lots of families were having picnics, biking and flying kites. Spring is starting to come which is exciting because Melbourne doesn't really have distinctive spring weather or flowers. I have a packed week with my parents visiting, midterm exams and various assessments. Next month will involve a lot more travelling, so keep a lookout!
